Tampa Bay’s leading rusher nearly did not make the trip to Munich this morning to face the Seahawks.
A replacement passport for running back Leonard Fournette was delayed in the mail by the weather. This left the Buccaneers wondering whether Fournette would travel with the team or make it to Germany.
During the week, Fournette’s team and the Buccaneers worked to resolve the passport issue. The passport finally arrived on Thursday just hours before the Bucs‘ flight left.
This season, Fournette has rushed for 405 yards and two touchdowns on 121 carries.
At 9:30 a.m. EST, the Buccaneers (4-5) will face the Seahawks (6-3) in Munich, Germany.
