A matchup against the 7-1 Vikings looms, and the Bills‘ biggest weapon is on the field.
NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reports that quarterback Josh Allen is able to grip a football despite suffering a UCL injury to his throwing elbow in Week 9.
As a result of Allen throwing in some capacity at the end of the week, Buffalo decided not to elevate third-string QB Matt Barkley for Sunday’s game, meaning Case Keenum will serve as Allen’s only backup, should an issue arise.
He’s led Buffalo’s vaunted offense this year with 2,403 passing yards for 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions, plus another four touchdowns and 392 rushing yards.
With their QB1 at the helm, the Bills will hope to inflict as much pain on the Vikings defense as possible Sunday.
