Rams: Good news, the defending champs always start well. There is only one direction to go.
Buccaneers: This feels like Tom Brady’s last ride. He always seems destined to walk away with a trophy.
Bills: They have a Super Bowl target without winning in nearly 30 years.
Chiefs: How are they not seen as ready to return to where they were four years ago?
Packers: The Cheese heads may switch to ayahuasca soon since their receiver room is dwindling.
Bengals: Will 80-percent turnovers improve the offensive line? As bad as it was in the postseason, it can’t get any worse.
49ers: Should their quarterback perform adequately and no key injuries occur, they may have a chance to return to the Super Bowl.
Titans: Could this be Ryan Tannehill’s last chance to take the Titans to the next level?
Eagles: After winning the Super Bowl five years ago, they’re ready to compete again..
Cowboys: Will they make the playoffs? Getting back there is the first step.
Colts: During this time of speculation whether Russell Wilson will join the Tom Brady/Matthew Stafford parade to the NFL title, Matt Ryan may be a better candidate to pull that off.
Ravens: In a tightly packed AFC, they’re as capable as anyone of getting to the postseason and winning there.
Cardinals: Everything will be fine in September and October. With Hard Knocks in-season cameras and microphones present in November and December, there will be a lot of pressure.
Raiders: Offense will be fine. Is the defense capable of slowing down the other three offenses in the division?
Chargers: Are the playoffs already in sight for second-year coach Brandon Staley?
Steelers: Pass them up at your peril.
Patriots: How long before Tom Brady gets more credit for the Super Bowls than Bill Belichick?
Dolphins: With Tua’s performance, the Dolphins are in with a chance of reaching the round of eight and maybe even the AFC Championship.
Broncos: This is a high bar for a team that has undergone many changes over the past two years. Their competition includes the Chiefs, Raiders, and Chargers.
Saints: Sean Payton’s departure has been met with a surprising amount of nonchalance. This is a huge void, and nobody on the coaching staff is sure if they can fill it.
Browns: If Deshaun Watson wins a Super Bowl in 2022, then the bizarre journey of 2022 will have been worth it. If it’s anything less, it won’t work.
Vikings: Ding dong, Zim’s dead. It could be enough to get the Vikings into the playoffs on its own.
Panthers: They have the talent to contend. It will only make the coaching staff’s seat even hotter.
Washington: Carson Wentz is playing in his last NFL game as a starter. How long will it take for him to stop being reckless with the ball?
Seahawks: Carroll’s presence forces us to take them seriously. In spite of that, it seems like they’ll have a hard time – especially in a competitive division.
Falcons: Matt Ryan has been the franchise’s cornerstone since 2008. Without him, how can they not regress?
Giants: It will take more than a year to fumigate the roster.
Lions: Will they be able to climb the ladder? Yes, absolutely. Will they? We’ll see.
Jaguars: If they had played in the NFC, they would have been a fringe playoff contender. There are just too many good teams in the AFC.
Bears: They’re tearing it down so they can build it up. Building it up may take some time.
Jets: Hopefully, ownership will give the current regime enough time to maximize the current roster.
